Clean+Green Review

I had a chance to review Clean+Green Carpet and Upholstery Spray.

This is GREAT if you have pets that spend time inside and may on occasion have accidents in the home.

UPDATE:
I love this spray... it took a while for us to find a reason to use it because both Sammy and Pudge are very good about telling us when they have to go potty, but we had left them inside one day while we went out to lunch and one of them went #1 in the darkest corner near our front door. I wanted to be upset, but I was actually excited because that meant I got to test out the Clean+Green Carpet and Upholstery Spray. It was so easy to use, just spray it on and that's it. No need to scrub or soak it up!

Here's what you need to know.

Clean+Green Carpet and Upholstery Spray:

Penetrates deep into your carpet, area rugs and upholstery.
It works on contact
Just Spray- no need to soak or scrub
It eliminates odors
Deep cleans
Remove Stains
There is also a money back guarantee! Just mail in the original receipt and that's it.

We're in!

Welp my friends, we're in our new place. We have a long way to go to unpack and make it our home, but I thought I'd give you a little sneak of some of our place thus far. Pictures of the whole place is coming soon.

Right when you walk in you have a hall closet and the Guest Room/Brendon's office. There are 3 big windows here which makes the room seem so light and open. This room has a slide door closet (which is Brendon's closet).

From there we walk into the family room. It's really big! This is the wall the couches will sit.

This is the dinning area, for a kitchen table. I love the overhead lighting. In this space we're thinking about getting a large table that can also double as a craft/study area too.

From the dinning area, through the double doors is the hallway and my super cute desk area. I love this space and can't wait to make it my own!

Here's the kitchen. We've got a flat cooktop stove, stainless steal sink, through the double doors is where our washer and dryer are and the small door on the right is the pantry.

Bathroom: The basics, sink toilet, and in the background you can see the cabinets!

We've got a shower/jetted tub

Master Bedroom. We've got a sliding door that leads out to the back patio.

Master Bedroom: Walk in Closet (this is my closet).

MasterBedroom: This is the back wall where our bed is going.... (We just put our California King frame and box spring in there and there is still SO MUCH room in there).

Slow Progress, the couches are in. We also have a matching chair and foot rest on the other wall.

I build this shoe storage from Ikea. No dirt on the carpet in this house.

Yesterday, the Hubs and I went to Ikea and picked this bookcase up. We decided to use it as a TV stand. You can also see the chair with our bedspread and other blankets on it. I need to get some tubs to fill some of those empty shelves.

Loading more things into the car to take to the new place. Apparently Sammy is ready to go too!

Making progress in my closet.

Ikea trip to get our TV stand and a desk for the hubbie.

Loading up our carts.

Brought the dogs over... they sniffed the entire place for quite sometime before they settled in.

Dogs settling in for the night. Pudge (the yellow lab) was having a blast. As long as he has his toys, he's fine. Sammy was a bit uneasy but eventually laid down and fell asleep.

Moving

Sorry for the lack of updates lately. We are moving, again.... we just moved from California to Texas not too long ago and now we're moving to a different part of Texas. We just got a super cute Town Home and we're very excited to be in and settled. We should officially be living there in a week or two.

I promise not to forget about you guys... I'll have pictures up soon!

Don't let the Pigeon Run This App for the iphone

I was very fortunate to get a chance to review one of Disney's Publishing apps, Don't let the Pigeon Run This App. They have several titles that are wonderful for young learners at home or even in a classroom setting at school. All Disney Publishing apps are available from the App Store on the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch or at www.itunes.com/appstore.

Discription:
Rated as one of the “Best Apps in 2011” by iTunes, this app features the creative work of three-time Caldecott Honoree Mo Willems, who brings the Pigeon to the digital screen with this original, feature-rich, animated app. The app lets users create your own Pigeon stories and is fully animated with hilarious shake-and-play technology and customized voice integration. $6.99

As you all know, I am a teacher. Lately my first grade friends haven't been motivated to write stories. I found the Pigeon app the perfect motivator for them. We did an author study on the Don't let the pigeon author, read several of the books and I put my iphone under the doc Cam and zoomed in. Together the class and I created a story before our journal writing for a week. Each day, a different group of students got to come up and create a story. After creating the story infront of the whole class, we played the story and turned the words on. We used the star pointer and read the story allowed as we watched it come to life. The kids always get so excited and after the story is over they were very eager to get their creative juices flowing in their writing journals. On Friday we used the How to Draw the pigeon part of the app and did a whole class art lesson drawling the pigeon. This week the kids will be coming up with their own pigeon story we are going to publish.

This is a great app and I would be the other Disney apps are amazing as well! Want more information, click the links below and check them out!
