Spring has Sprung

The weather is starting to warm up. I love the cool breezes and wish it would stay like this. Where it's cool enough for jeans and warm enough for a t-shirt.

No H.O.T. weather for me!

Spring Break

Spring Break was good. I spent half of it here cleaning and getting things done before leaving for my parents midweek. When I got to my parents I came in to find the bought a little puppy. The sweetest little Chaweinnie! He has steel grey eyes, is white with brown spots. He was 7 weeks old when I left.

My mom and I had a lovely time shopping and going to bridal showers in between helping her train the dog and checking on my brother who had major surgery that Tuesday.

This was my first Thursday back at school and really the only day this week, thus far, that I just wanted to be done with work. The kids were good, the staff was good, I was just ready to come home today.

This is Boomer. He's a 7 week old Chiweenie. This little guy is SUPER sweet and really smart. He is semi trained on a pee pad to go potty. He does have accidents every now and then because he's running to go to the bathroom but for his little legs sometime... it's just too far.

Went to my parents for Easter. They got the cutest little puppy. I digitally scrapped a page to show you his cuteness.

Help out a class of 2nd graders raise money for the American Heart Association

My class and I are participating in the American Heart Association’s Hoops For Heart event at our school. The kids and I will be shooting hoops to help the American Heart Association raise money to fight heart disease and stroke. Can you please help me by making a donation that will help save lives?

The American Heart Association's online fundraising website has a minimum donation amount of $25.00. If you want to donate less, that's ok. You can just send the check right to me and I'll make sure the American Heart Association gets it. Thanks.

Meet Sarah Cathryne, 14, a 7th grader in Virginia. She’s proof that stroke affects people of all ages — she had one before she was even born. Read more about Sarah Cathryne at http://www.americanheart.org/presenter.jhtml?identifier=3053182
