One of my most favorite things to do is buy baby gifts. Baby clothes are so sweet and adorable. I just can't resist a cute little outfit! (I should start saving my pennies now My friend Melissa had a baby girl, Georgia, not too long ago and I wanted to send them something... a "Welcome Home Georgia" gift. So I bought little Georgia a sweet as can be outfit. She looks precious if I do say so.

cauliflower.
Trader Joe's Greek Style Feta Dressing (used 1 table spoon)
(Croutons) I sprinkled on a few
*Cut up lettuce
*Cut up veggies
*Pour on dressing and croutons.
*Eat
SO, SO, SO, good and if you do ww it's less than 5 points.

Picture Post
As you know, I went up to Elk Grove for a funeral of a family member. In order to keep my emotions in check while driving, I decided to distract myself by taking photos as I drove. Here are a few of I5 I took.
My Pace Car. GREAT DRIVER!
I'd love to take a trip here.
End Photos of I5
This past Wed.-Fri. I went to a PLC conference (Educational) for work. It was a lot of fun and I learned a lot. I went with my Principal, and 3 teachers. We stayed at the Hilton hotel and got all of our meals comped. :) I learned how to make my grade level more of a team and not just a group in order to focus on how will be get these kids to learn and master skills we teach. Our seminars ended at 3 or so each day. That left the rest of the day for us to explore San Jose. We went to Santana Row, and walked around downtown.
I only took a few pictures.
We ate at a really good Mexican Restaurant on Santana row, where they make guacamole right in front of you.
San Jose Skyline
And now for some cuteness. Pudge is almost 5 months old. He is getting so big, really fast. Pudge is going to be a massive beast. Until then I'm just going to enjoy this puppy time.
Our little Pudge-scout
He loves to sit on my lap.... I don't know how well this will go over when he's 100 pounds. HA!
Sammy has adjusted to Pudge being around and constantly wanting to wrestle with him. He really has grown to love Pudge... just not when he can't lay on his bed.

Family ties
Like some of you know, we went to visit my hubbie's Grandmother's house to visit her and some of the family. The hub's parents were there along with my sister-in-law and my little niece. I was so thrilled to see her because she doesn't really know any of us that well.
I got to talk with my little almost 3 year old, niece and EVEN got invited to go to her dance lessons (which she's not taking just yet). We also got to see some photos of her 3 year old photo shoot. Here are a few pictures of her I wanted to share.

Benihana Japanese Restaurant
I don't know one person who doesn't like Benihana Japanese Restaurant. Brendon and I love going to the one in Monterey, Ca. We go there to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, we take people who come to visit us there. It's a lot of fun! I just came across a giveaway for a $40 gift card to Benihana. Here's the link if you'd like to enter.

You can really tell
You can really tell who your good friends are when you are going through a tough time.
This summer has been a rough one for me, and my family. I had a family member die, a family member find out they have stage 5 lung cancer, and another who has to go to a cancer center every week to monitor their blood cell count because it is DANGEROUSLY low, and my brother's health issue.
Through out everything, there has been a selected few have really been there for me, with just simple emails, instant messages, text messages, asking how are you doing, sending words of encouragement, good thoughts and prayers. It really means the world to know I have friends who care, and thought enough of me to take time out of their busy days to think of me and my family.
Thank you friends, for reaching out. I really needed to know that you were there for me. I appreciated the cards that were sent to the house, and all of the "hey, how are you holding up" messages I got online. Your daily words of hope and support really touched me. Thank you for checking on me....
I sent a sweet little gift to those who did as a Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

Second Doctors appointment today. With me luck!
Getting a Ultra Sound (not for the reason you are thinking) and having a camera look around my insides.
